As a condition precedent to any coverage provided by the applicable ARMS coverage agreement, all accidents involving a Member board owned or Member operated automobile, as defined in the coverage agreement, must be reported within 7 days of the accident by submitting to ARMS or its designee at the contact information below a completed ARMS Automobile Liability Fund Accident Reporting Form and all supporting documents.
As a condition precedent to any coverage provided by the applicable ARMS coverage agreement, all non-litigated claims for personal injuries or property damage allegedly arising from an accident with a Member board owned or Member operated automobile must be reported to ARMS or its designee at the contact information below by submitting the ARMS Automobile Liability Fund Claim for Property Damage or Personal Injury Form completed by the claimant (individual or entity making a claim) and all supporting documentation requested and provided by the claimant within 15 days of receipt of such information by the Member board.
As a condition precedent to any medical payment coverage provided by the applicable ARMS coverage agreement, all claims for medical payments for non-Member employee individual passengers in a Member owned or operated automobile involved in an accident must be reported to ARMS or its designee at the contact information below by submitting the ARMS Claim for Medical Payments and Release Form completed by the injured party claimant (individual making a claim) or the injured party’s parent or legal guardian if the injured party is a minor within 15 days of receipt of such information by the Member board.
Notice of any and all litigated claims must be submitted to ARMS within 15 days of service by providing a copy of the litigation (summons and complaint) served on any Member to ARMS or its designee at the contact information below.
ARMS will not establish a Claim file unless and until a Claim is presented by an individual or entity through 1) service of litigation, 2) completion of the ARMS Automobile Liability Fund Claim for Property Damage and Personal Injury Form, or 3) completion of the ARMS Claim for Medical Payments and Release Form and ARMS coverage will not apply to a Claim unless the appropriate form and all supporting documentation, or the summons and complaint where applicable, are provided to ARMS within 15 days of receipt by any Member.
Do not authorize any medical care expenses, repairs to a claimant’s vehicle, rental of an automobile by a claimant, admit any liability, offer to settle any Claim, incur any cost, or retain any attorney, the cost of which the Member expects ARMS to pay.
ARMS automobile liability coverage is subject to a $1,000.00 per incident deductible. Please do not report property damage liability claims that are for less than $1,000.00.
